1.
The Steering Committee complies with the Personal Information Protection
Regulations under the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communication
Network Utilization and Information Protection", and the "Personal
Information Protection Guidelines" and "Technical and Administrative
Protection Measures for Personal Information" established by the Ministry
of Information and Communication.
In
addition, the Steering Committee declares that it will do its best to protect
members' personal information by enacting the "Personal Information
Protection Policy".
2.
The "Personal Information Protection Policy" of the Steering
Committee may be changed by changes to relevant laws and government guidelines or
the internal policy of the Steering Committee.
If
"Privacy Policy" of the Steering Committee changes, the amendments
will be posted on the website's notice for at least 7 days.
¡Ø Personal Information
The
Steering Committee provides a process to click the "Agree" or
"Not Agree" button to the terms and conditions of the Steering
Committee. It will regard as a consent to the collection of personal
information when members click the Agree button.
In
addition, if the user click the ¡°Agree¡± button, the items other than ¡°Password¡±
and ¡°Resident Registration Number¡± among the personal information below are
considered to have been agreed for the Steering Committee to provide to
subcontractors to perform the service.

The range of "Personal Information", which means information that can
be identified (including information that can be easily combined with other
information to identify it even if the information alone cannot identify a
specific individual), is based on the information stipulated in the Act on
Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information
Protection, etc.
2.
The Steering Committee collects and uses members' personal information for user
identification, payment, owner of service, personalized service, and other
additional services. The specific purpose of collection and purpose of use according
to the items of personal information collected are as follows:
- Name,
ID, password, resident registration number / business registration number: used
for identification process according to the use of membership service
- Check
the owner of the service
- E-mail
address, phone number, fax number: communication for securing essential
information according to domain management regulations, delivering notices, handling
complaints, etc.

Securing routes, providing guide for new services and new product or event
- Bank
information, credit card information: payment for purchase and use of paid
information
- Address:
providing domain information inquiry, checking the correct address for shipping
bills and shopping mall items
- Cookies
(ID): applying differentiated price benefits by rating by automatically
analyzing visitor IDs through cookie operation.
By
setting the option in the web browser, the customer can check saved cookies
every time or refuse to save all cookies; however, refusing to store cookies
may limit the using web services.

The Steering Committee does not entrust member¡¯s personal information.
4.
The Steering Committee does not request sensitive personal information (race
and ethnicity, ideology and creed, place of origin, political inclination and
criminal record, health status and sexual life, etc.) that may be a violation
of the basic human rights of users.
5.
The retention period of personal information is "from the moment the
member joins the Steering committee to the moment when the user applies for
termination¡°.
The
member DB of the Steering Committee is required to immediately delete the
personal information of the withdrawal applicant; however, if there is a need
to preserve according to the provisions of the law, even if the purpose of
collection and the purpose for being provided is achieved, the customer's
personal information may be retained in accordance with the provisions of the
law.

on contract or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years
- Records
on payment and supply of goods: 5 years
- Records
of consumer complaints or dispute handling: 3 years, etc.
¡Ø Provision of Information to
Third Parties

The Steering Committee does not provide members' personal information to others
or other companies or organizations without permission. However, the following
cases are exceptions:
- In
the case of providing the applicant's information to the registered business
operators of the domain for domain name registration

In the case of providing information for the domain name at WHOIS service
- In
response to requests from national organizations or consumer organizations
designated by the government in accordance with related laws, such as the Act
on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and
Information Protection, etc.
- When
the dispute resolution organization or the court requests the contact
information of the domain registrant involved in the dispute
- If
there is a criminal investigation purpose or there is a request from a legal
organization such as the Korea Information Security Agency and the Korea
Information Security Agency
- When
using member's information (name, address, phone number) for business contact
- Provided
in a form that cannot be identified as a specific customer when necessary for
statistical preparation, promotional materials, academic research, or market
research
- When
members apply for the services of the Steering committee, the Steering
committee provides the password, the order information that does not include
the resident registration number, address information, and contact information,
etc.

The Steering Committee must seek the consent of each member in advance when
sharing information with affiliates or providing the member¡¯s personal
information in order to provide a wider range of services. Each Individual member
will be notified through e-mail about where the affiliates are, what personal
information items are provided or shared, why such personal information should
be shared, and how and when it will be protected and managed. If members do not
agree, the Steering Committee will not provide or share with affiliates.
¡Ø Access and Correction of Personal
information

The Steering Committee members can view or correct personal information at any
time. If members wish to view and correct personal information, log in to the
site and click the "Change Information" button next to the Logout
button.
2.
Members who have forgotten ID and password can check ID or password through the
"ID verification / password verification" service on the homepage.
3.
Members are responsible for managing ID and password.
To
protect your personal information effectively, you must properly manage and
take responsibility for your member ID and password.
The
Steering Committee is not responsible for leaking ID and password by member
oneself. However, regarding the leakage of the member ID and password due to
negligence or intention of the Steering Committee, the member may hold the
responsibility of the Steering Committee.
After
using the website with the personal account, the user must log out the account
and close the web browser. In particular, if the user shares a computer with
others or uses it in a public place, the user must log out or close the web
browser.
¡Ø Withdrawal
Members
can withdraw at any time they wish. Member withdrawal can be applied from the
member information management screen.
However,
if a member has not passed the expiration date of the service being used in
Gavia, membership cancellation is not possible.
¡Ø Technical Measures for Protection
of Personal Information
The
Steering Committee is preparing the following technical measures to prevent the
loss, theft, leakage, tampering or damage of personal information of members.
1.
The personal information of each member is protected by a password, and
personal information data is protected through a separate security function.
2.
The Steering Committee establishes and implements password creation rules to
prevent users and personal information handlers from using numbers that are
easy to guess, such as birthdays, social security numbers, and phone numbers.
3.
The Steering Committee uses anti-virus programs and malware defense software to
prevent damage caused by computer viruses, and the software is regularly
updated daily.
4.
The Steering Committee uses an expensive router and L3 switch equipped with an
intrusion prevention function and an intrusion detection function to protect
personal information on the network.
5.
The Steering Committee also operates a triple personal information protection
system by establishing a separate firewall.
6.
The Steering Committee encrypts and stores personal information in a personal
information protection system, and operates the system to encrypt and store
personal information when transmitting outside the Steering Committee's
information and communication network or storing it on a PC.
¡Ø Handling Opinion and Complaints
If
you have any complaints regarding the protection of personal information by the
Steering Committee, please give your opinions to the person in charge of
personal information management, and the Steering Committee will take action
immediately upon receipt of the results.
In
case of unauthorized leakage of personal information or other serious
infringement, you can also file a complaint or mediation at the Personal
Information Infringement Reporting Center installed and operated by the
government.

¡Ø About Youth Membership
1.
In order to protect children's personal information, the Steering Committee
must have the consent of a legal representative (parent) when a child under the
age of 14 applies for membership. The Steering Committee may arbitrarily
exclude minors under the age of 14 without parental permission.
2.
Legal representatives of minors under the age of 14 may request viewing,
correction, and withdrawal of consent for minors' personal information under
the agent's responsibility. Upon such a request, the Steering Committee will
take necessary measures without delay.
¡Ø About Withdrawal When
Dealing with a Minor
The
Steering Committee is obliged to obtain the consent of the legal representative
(parent) in advance when dealing with a minor, and in the case of a transaction
that does not obtain the consent of the legal representative (parent), the
transaction can be canceled. In addition, if the legal representative (parent)
of a minor who is the party to a transaction requests to withdraw within 7 days
of the transaction, the Steering Committee will withdraw (refund) the
transaction.
¡Ø Advertising Information
Transmission
1.
The Steering Committee can freely send e-mails to members for information on
services provided by the Steering Committee or notices about services, etc.
2.
The Steering Committee may transmit advertising information to members. However,
in this case, the message (advertisement) will be displayed to make it easier
for members to understand that it is advertising information. The information
will not be sent to members who have indicated their intention to unsubscribe.
